NDIS & Healthcare Orders
Watch bands for NDIS participants and occupational therapy clients
Ordering a watch band for a participant, patient or client? We make it simple: tell us the watch, we confirm the band fits, and we email a tax invoice your practice or plan manager can pay by card or bank transfer. No account to create and no minimum order.
OzStraps has supplied replacement bands for Apple Watch, Garmin, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Fitbit and Google Pixel Watch for 11 years. Every band ships from our Melbourne warehouse with a 12-month warranty and 60-day returns, so a band that turns out to be the wrong fit for a client can be swapped.
How to order with a tax invoice
- Confirm the watch. Use the band finder on our homepage, or check the compatibility guide for Apple Watch, Garmin, Samsung or Fitbit. If you are unsure of the model, it is usually printed on the back of the watch or listed under Settings > About.
- Send us the order. Email sales@ozstraps.com.au with the watch model, the bands you want (links from our site are ideal), quantities, the delivery address and who the invoice should be made out to. Include a purchase order number if your practice uses them and we will print it on the invoice.
- Receive your tax invoice. We check the fit, then email a tax invoice showing GST, shipping and the total, with a secure payment link. Pay by card through the link, or by bank transfer using the details on the invoice.
- Dispatch. Orders paid before 1pm on a business day leave the same day with tracked Australia Post delivery. Shipping is free on orders over $30, and free express on orders over $100.
Participants who self-manage their plan can also order directly through the website and download the receipt from their order confirmation email.
Choosing a band that is easy to wear and easy to manage
Most requests we receive from OTs come down to four things: a band that goes on and off without fiddly buckles, a band that fits a larger or smaller wrist, a band that is comfortable for all-day and overnight wear, and a band that keeps the heart-rate sensor working. Here is how we usually steer people.
Limited hand dexterity or one-handed use
- Stretch loops and elastic bands slide over the hand with no clasp at all.
- Magnetic bands close with a magnet instead of a pin-and-hole buckle. Milanese loops adjust to any wrist size without tools.
- Sport loops with hook-and-loop closure (often called velcro bands) can be done up with one hand and adjust to the millimetre.
Browse these styles under sport bands, nylon bands and Milanese loops for Apple Watch, or use the band finder to see the same styles for other watches.
Sensory sensitivity and skin
- Silicone is soft, hypoallergenic, washable and dries quickly, which suits daily showering and swimming.
- Nylon is lightweight and breathable for people who find silicone sweaty or who wear the watch overnight for sleep tracking.
- Avoid leather for clients who will not take the watch off in water.
Larger or smaller wrists
Every product page lists the fitted wrist range under the Sizing tab (for example 150mm to 225mm). Measure the wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, then check that number against the range before ordering. If a client sits outside the standard range, email us and we will tell you which styles stretch or extend to fit.
Keeping the heart-rate sensor accurate
Choose a two-piece band (silicone, sport loop, stretch loop or Milanese) rather than a single-piece pass-through strap. Two-piece bands leave the optical sensor on the back of the watch uncovered, which matters for clients whose watch is used for heart-rate alerts or fall detection.
Healthcare workers who cannot wear a wrist watch
Our smartwatch fob bands clip the watch to a uniform or lanyard, so nurses and allied health staff in bare-below-the-elbow settings can keep their watch on shift. Fobs are also available for Samsung and Fitbit.
Changing the band
Modern smartwatch bands change without tools: Apple Watch bands slide in and out of the case, Garmin QuickFit bands click on and off with a button, and quick-release bands use a small lever on the pin. Our step-by-step guide covers every brand we stock, and we are happy to talk a client or carer through it by email or chat.
Frequently asked questions
Can the invoice be made out to the plan manager or the practice rather than the participant?
Yes. Tell us who to address the invoice to and where to send it. The delivery address can be different from the billing details.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Send the PO number with your order request and it will appear on the tax invoice.
Can we order a few styles to trial with a client and return the rest?
Yes, within our 60-day returns policy. Keep the bands you are not using unworn and in their packaging, and email us to arrange the return.
Does the invoice show GST?
Yes. Our tax invoices show GST separately, along with shipping and our ABN.
Do you offer pricing for practices that order regularly?
If your practice or service orders bands regularly, email sales@ozstraps.com.au and we will set up a simple ordering arrangement for your team.
What if the band does not fit the watch?
We confirm the model before the invoice is issued, so this is rare. If it happens, we exchange the band at no cost. Every band also carries a 12-month warranty.
Are these official Apple, Garmin, Samsung or Fitbit bands?
No. They are compatible replacement bands made to fit those watches, chosen against our own quality standards and rated 4.8 from more than 27,000 verified customer reviews.
Need help choosing?
Email sales@ozstraps.com.au with the watch model and a sentence about the client's needs, or use the chat button on any page. We reply on business days and can send photos or measurements of specific bands before you order.
